man, almost looks like beach sand here on the gulf coast. I'd haul some off if i wasn't afraid of the insane federal fines I'd incur if I got busted with the restoration from the hurricanes and all =/

A 60:40 mixture of white silica play sand and Argonite oolite sand.

Wow, nice loaches! No quarantine first? I've heard they're especially prone to ich, and I'd HATE to have to fish 'em out of such a big (albeit beautiful) tank.

The argonite was left over from my salt tanks so decided to use it since I already had it. And, the guy who had the loaches had them for 13 years so I figured it wouldn't be a problem.. lol
