The gold fish and the cories will be moved, some of the crayfish will be relocated in my other tanks. How many do u guys think i can fit in this 20L. Also missing some driftwood , still soaking. should i use another powerhead for the other side of the ugf.

how many adults you got there? where'd you pick em up? and how much?

I'd say 5 0r 6 comfortably in a 20L. more if you have plenty of hiding places. marble crays are very peaceful. I have a ton and never any aggression

nice set up man

When you say peaceful, you mean toward each other? i've seen them riding and taking down fish in the tank. i've also seen fish killing them while they molt

There's 10 crayfish in the tank, plus a small one. Got them from aquabid for $42 shipped, sold by rainbowfish if i remember corectly. I will be adding more hiding spots.

From what i have gathered they are peaceful toward themselves not other fish.

damn, i was gonna get some of these... i guess i'll pass on em.
i've heard they were ok with larger fish but i'd rather not risk it after hearing this.
thanks for the heads up!

Cool crayfish! For some reason they look exactly like mine! ;) Oh, the reality of clones!

Nice Crays. Congrats on the new acquisitions, and welcome to the club.

I have 8 in a 20L right now, ranging from 1.25" to 2.25". I've got tons of hiding places, but I rarely see them hiding. I can usually find 6 or 7 of the 8 just with a quick scan of the tank.

I have some guppies in with mine and haven't really had much agression yet, and never toward each other. The crays don't actively chase the fish or anything, at least not while I'm looking. I did have a male guppy get part of it's tail chewed off a couple days ago though. Had a nice big black fan tail, that now looks like a lyretail, the entire middle 1/3 of the tail fin is gone right to the base. No finrot or anything going on so I can only assume a cray is responsible. The guppies still swim down alongside the crays all the time though. I think the guppies spend more time inside the rock caves I made than the crays do.

Good luck and keep us posted on how they progress. :)

i've got a friend with marble crays in a 55 with a couple of convict and a ton of pvc pipes. The convicts have taken down 3 crays so far while they molt and i've seen pics of the crays taking a ride on a goldfish's tails. lol. Great hang time.
