Not a bad pick up for 20$ pretty sure hes a florida since i'm not good at IDing then when small.. hes about 4-5" atm... found a good use of the tank full of feeder guppies I had....

btw gotta give my husband credit for this find.. he saw the label and said "hey honey... this is a real gar! what kind is it?"...I'm teaching him well...
nice fla gar. my friend has a 7 inch gator gar in a pond. he just got it off aquascape a few months ago.
Now that hes settled in... and yes.. there are 2 albino LF bristle nose in the tank.. and they leave him alone.. soon as hes big enough to be moved to a 40 no pleco tank-mates.
yeah careful about those plecos. they will kill your gar by sucking on him. that happened to me with a green sunfish.
Deffinately a small Florida Gar. Make sure it has easy access to food at that age. I wish you the best of luck.
