My new Midas

I just picked up this guy yesterday. I thought he had potential. What do you guys think?

for his size he has the start of a nice hump and the finnage is excellent. very nice pickup and he definitely has huge potential.

I saw him at a lfs that was hosting an MFK meet, I kept going back to the tank and watching him. I knew if I didn't get him it would bother me all weekend (we all know how that is). I really like him, he settled right in staked some turf and started digging in blowing sand into a pile, and chowing down on a few Krill. I always wanted a big beefy bull barred Midas and I think I might have found him. The lfs said they brought them in from Rapps just for the meet. he's only about 3.5" I'll be posting pics of his progress and growth so we can see how he develops.

sounds awesome...can't wait to see how he turns out. and yeah, I for one know that feeling, walking around the lfs always coming back to one tank with one fish that you keep debating over...lol
