just got him from seth, I believe its a male? and is really skinny, where you can see the ribcage. its roughly around 5-6''

it is hard to tell from the pictures if male or female. Does not look to skinny but also hard to tell. Is it eating?

I said it's skinny because the ribcage is visable.

Yeah I just saw it eating shrimp

on small pups the gills "rib cage" being visable is not that big of a problem. If showing bones near the edge of the disc near the tail, then i would say pretty skinny.

Just keep him/her pumped up with food.

I'm sure Seth can tell the difference between a male and female. Can you??? In the second picture above, the "rib cage" is actually where the gills are located.

what is the cause of this? It look like the skin around the disc is peeling off. I can see Red spots.

possible ammonia burn from transport. check your water what are the readings? ammonia and ph specifically
