My new Ornate

There was a 40% sale at a lfs. The Ornate Bichirs usually go for $40 so I got this guy for $25 I'm pretty excited! I've been wanting one for months! It's a little bit over 5 in.

When I first put him in the tank, he went after one of the Congo Tetras that I thought were a bit big for him. He skinned half it's face off, but the fish seems to be recoverying nicely.

very nice, i just got one myself last week, same deal, was on sale at my LFS, for $24.99 and the GF really liked him and was ready to pay, so i was like, sure. got him in a 55g right now.
