my new oscar

Hopefully this is in the right place , I got me a new Oscar today and he is a small one 3" max he looked really good in the store he looks good now its just that he was a really good black with perfect orange colors. Now his colors fade and then come back then fade again he is staying close to the bottom not really swiming around much ? is he alittle stressed what do I need to know when he is this small he is in a 75g tank.

My little brother had the same thing happen to him. He would be just a little stressed, but soon enough with a good diet and clean water his colours will come back and he will be swimming around in no time.

he is prob. a little stressed. give him time and hell be all over the place. i got my oscars at 2" and he was all black now, at 6", he is full of color. just make sure you keep your water clean and feed a good diet and your oscar will look great

just leave him alone in a dark room for a while to let him settle in!

He will still be stressed give him some time to settled and he should be ok.
