I can’t remember the type of parrot they said it was, that’s my main question here. Worst shape parrot I’ve ever seen though. Need to vent it.

It's a BP (blood parrot), sadly tho this is a very common issue with this hybrid specie. Yours just happens to be worse then most. Granted tho it should still be able to have a normal, happy and healthy life with the proper care.

Yeah, it’s swimming around fine with my other parrots, no problems. The seller had some specific name for it I just can’t remember it. It was Asian.

that's a nice parrot. I don't like the plain ones. What do you mean by shape? It looks normal.

That's definitely not a normal one, lol. Some of the have a small indent in their head, that one is definitely not a small indent.

As for type it is probably just a regular blood Parrot that has a very deformed head and some different colors which happens because of their red devil/Midas genes. A lot breeders make up weird names for their fish, like super Galaxy fireball tornado or something like that. It's best to ignore what they call it unless it is the name of their line or it is the name of new specific hybrid they made. Keep us updated on its behavior, it would be very interesting to see if it starts acting differently.

As far as the name goes, they’ve gotten them in before and it’s a japanese(?) name that I can never remember no matter how many times they say it. They were charging $100 for it but I got it in a deal with giant female rose queen. That head indent and the white was mostly why I wanted to throw it in for the package deal. I was hoping it was a final and wanted to see if it would be genetic. But if it’s a male then it’s just a new pet. I’ll have to get a pic from the other side. It looks like it just had a deformed skull or something. It’s kind of neat. Right now he’s in with some King Kong parrots.

I don't know why anyone would breed a trait like that. It just in no way looks appealing to me personally. I like blood parrots but it just crosses the line for me. It probably isn't Japanese, most blood parrots are from Taiwan, I believe. If you go back ask them to spell the name on paper and take a pic of it so we might be able to figure it out.

Definitely will. It very well could be Taiwanese and I’m just ignorant. I believe it started with an O. This is the second time they’ve had them. Last one wasn’t deformed like this.

They were seriously trying to charge $100.00 for the massive deformity??!!!!!!! I'm sorry but 5.00 would be a high price tag for me on that fish. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but in this case I cant seem to look at this deformity as a desired trait in a parrot line. No way.
