Just got these lil guys. They still look stressed but I was wondering if they were identifiable at this size... Also These are my first cichla so any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. sorry for the crappy cell phone pics

Keep your temps between 83-88, keep the water clean, get them on pellets as soon as possible and welcome to cichla ;)
 
I bought them as putumayo monos but they had exhanged hands twice before I got them so I dont know how reliable that is. I paid ten bucks a piece from someone who didnt want them anymore. He said he paid alot more.... who knows. Im happy with them. Cant wait to see how they turn out. Im in Chicago and Ive seen people from Chicago advertisisng peacock bass on here Im hoping one of them could possibly help me get more info about where they might have come from.

Too small to ID. Could be putumayo could be peruvian could not be a mono
