Cute. I thought peacocks only had their tail markings and no horizontal stripes on their bodies.

Hmm Maybe its something else then? I havent really seen him eat i feed Bloodworms, brine shrimp, and Beef heart.

I know petsmart sells their peacock eels as striped peacock eels so I think the stripes are pretty common.

I have the same problem, it's really difficult to tell whether they're eating. As for the stripes, I really have no idea. Probably the same species with some genetic variation.

8'' to 12'' assuming they're M. siamensis.
