Picked him up yesterday. Is it normal for him to just swim in the current non stop?

Mine did that for the first couple days until she got settled. Once she was settled she staked off the left 1/3 Of my tank as her territory which she vigorously defends from my other bottom dwellers. Sh likes the left side of the tank because of the flat river rocks and the extreme current.
I know when she's hungry because she'll post up facing into the current standing on her pelvic fins. I feed primarily cubes of trout. She occasionally takes pellets if they're convenient, but she's not totally off of fresh fish yet. Tbh, Im not too eager to get her off of the trout because it gives ne an excuse to go fishing lol. She really enjoys live food too.
When she's resting she hangs out in a cave in my rocks or under a stump. With features are in her territory. She never leaves her territory. Even when she's resting, she likes to be pointed into the current.
Here's a pic of her resting in her cave. Forgive the dirty glass!
