I picked this guy up locally off of craigslist. He was eating feeders and was in 77degree water. The guy said he had him in colder water so he wouldnt eat so much. So within 2 days I've got him smashing silversides and plumpin his belly right up. He is much happier in his new tank w/ 86-87 degree water. Also doing well with my much thicker mono.

Here is my new tem w/ the crew. He is about 7-7.5'' est.

Thanks guys. He must have been really hungry. He is smashing them silversides...he splashed me this morning. He has already ate 5-8 of them today...A couple were the big 4-5'' ones too.

Thanks street any haychinook! Street they are in black square pots w/ black gravel. The ones that are real big and green at the moment are a type of sword. I get a bunch of sunlight through the front of my tank....I used to have an algae bloom problem...THen I threw in a bunch of plants and started doing w/c's every 3-5 days and whammo! Amazing what the people here on mfk have taught me in the last year or so. Thanks guys/girls!
 
looks like you got an Ocell instead of a mono, are his eye always red?
