sorry your other thread got closed people wouldn't flame as much if you posted all your pics in one thread but i suppose thats hard to do when they close your threads but some times it does get out of hand

but on to the point of the thread

i see 3 male black cons and 1 female in those pics also i don't think you have a HRP just a female will a good amount of blue in here mines the same way i think your cons fins must look red to some people due to that gravel but i'm pretty sure theres no HRP in those pics

and yeah HRP aren't cons but are related

They're members of the same genus, and as a 'convict_breeder' I thought you'd be able to tell. Personally I can't tell: better photos would have helped but I'm sure we'll get plenty more within the next few days.

No offense to anyone, but it doesn't take much to be a convict breeder.

step 1 - get an aquarium

step 2 - add water

step 3 - add some convicts

Ta-da!!! Congratulations, you're a convict breeder!

:ROFL:Thanks for pointing out the obvious.

I don't see any hrp's either btw.

No Honduran Red Points, just convicts. One just has a fair amount of blue but is NOT a HRP. I see this thread lasting a long time.

I think I see a rosy red :) Nice cons, agreed no HRP. I currently have 4 cons (3 regular black, one black shortbody) in my 160 with the uaru. There's holey rock in there and the cons are having a blast swimming in & out of the holey rock, fighting over the best holes, and digging in the sand (uaru is digging too). They're kind of like africans (except they're cons haha). Might try to post some pics if I can get my cam to not take such blurry ones.

I cant see any females?? Can someone point the female out to me?

If there is only one female, she will almost certainly die from the stress of of four males tring to mate with her...... In human life that is just an annoyance....in an aquarium it is a killer.
