she was labeled as a common pleco sometimes the petstores surprise me I know nothing of plecos but I had read a thread about the snow king pleco. so I was looking at the common plecos at me lfs to see if there were any mistakes and sure enought I found her Ancistrus temminckii a small member of the bristle nose pleco family max size around 5 inches native to Suriname.

sadly her pectorals are a bit broken but shes fine she should heal up my little raphy cat did

:):):):):):):):):) I was soooooo happy she is very pretty i would post pics but my camera died today so heres one I got off the internet that looks almost like her

today has just been awesome I finally found someone to buy my jack dempsey so my two raphy cats and my little bristle nose will be getting an upgrade.

does anyone know how much Ancistrus temminckii cost I paid three dollars.

also does anyone know what their favorite vegetables are?

thanks

she seems to be settled in cause I sank a grape for her and shes eating it. the tank is probably to her liking cause its filled to the brim with drift wood I got in the aderondacks I still have more waiting to be boiled and even more that is ready

Bristlenose are $2-5. Algae wafers and meaty foods.
Algae wafers are not veggies, and meaty foods are not that big with the bristle nose plecos.

General going rate for a common BN is ~$5-10. Zucchini is a good veggie, as is sweet potato.
