my new poly is a monster!!!

two or three weeks ago I lost a 7 inch poly to a filter guard that fell off (he was curious what the propeller felt like )
so I got a new one about two days ago.
I also got some worms and I throw some in from time to time for my ropes and other fish.

so today I threw in a worm into my tank.
and my new baby bichir less than an inch long
did a serious death roll on a 3-4 inch long worm
and managed to out run my giant danios and my blood parrots
it was like capture the flag how much it got passed off when they eventually caught up though.
but the death roll on something 3 times longer and just as thick while running away from giant danios and a blood parrot this one is gonna be a beast

Senegal it might be one and a half or two but its definitely not big
half or a third of the size of the worm and it did a beastly death roll
no pics as of now..
my camera is mia (and old as I'll get out)
I wish I had a vid of it though it was like david and goliath except david did a deathroll instead of using a sling

I've had my bichirs for a few months now and they still haven't done a death roll yet. Sorry to hear about your other bichir.

yeah I just had a similar accident.. with my african black ghost knife.
while I was setting up my new 29 bow I got for my congo
.. I knocked teh filter water intake guard thing off.. and same dang thing
and I think one of my rams caught the hole in teh head...
but I'm going to get a picture of this new tank and the ram up here by tuesday.

i even found some anubias!!
and its two tone sand and stone with oodles of plants and more bulbs that are just getting going.
