this is my new 8 by 5 by 3 feet deep pond! it took me and my friend one day to build! we woke up at 7 oclock this morning and finished at 6 it costed us 60 dollars all together (not including filtration and heating of course) it was a long day(we also cut through my cable wire on accident but luckily my friends dad knew how to fix it that saved me 150 dollars LOL) but we finally got through it and it turned out AMAZING!!!pond.jpg

Hopefully that's a real pond liner, because some that aren't meant for ponds contain harmful chems. And BTW before you dig your supposed to get your lines marked, I believe its the law! ;)

Looks real good, monster footprint! What are you going to stock it with?

um i got the pond liner at home depot and bought the 10x12 size and the only reason it fit is because we made a shallow and deep part instead of just having the whole pond the same depth and kodiak i am planning to stock it with my 11 inch mono ocell hybrid peacock bass my 2 florida gar maybe a couple more peacock bass a armatus and a clown knife but i will have a bunch of filtration im not sure what i will end up getting exactly ( probably something something with a waterfall and then a seperate pump and i also plan to get a floating heater so the bass can make it through the winter.

Plant the crap out of that baby and do a rock water fall with a prefilter for agitation and mechanical filtration, all you need is a pump!
