Im thinking of getting a 250 gallon with an arrow and some tankmates. Right now, I think my stocklist will look like this:

1 14" silver arrow
2 8" monoculus
2 6" frontosa
2 10" senegal bichirs
1 12" tsn
5 5" red hooks
2 7" oscars
possibly a 14"jardini/5"jaguar cichlid/8"pike cichlid/14" marble pim

These are just my thought( they are what my lfs has right now). Please give me other suggestions.

Also, I may get a 400 gallon tank with larger fish instead. These may be:

1 16" Jardini
1 13" flowerhorn
1 14" Rd citrenellus
1 15" CK
1 13" buttikoferi
1 16" hepsetus odoe
1 14" festae

Please give any tankmate suggestions for this tank aswell. Thanks

Keep in mind, in usual circumstances whenever you put a jardini with anything else, it's probably going to be bothered/beaten to death. Theres no way you would be able to house a TSN forever unless your 250 happens to be like 4' wide. 6" fronts will probably become food for the tsn after a couple months if the silver aro doesnt eat it first.

All your fish will grow fast so better think about the fish list.

When considering a tank for silver aros as well as the monos, TSN or CK you need to consider how big the fish will get. The sizes you have list for these fish are irrelevant.

buttikoferi, jardini, and flowerhorn are notoriously mean fish and i bet one of it's tank mates will be beaten up to death.

This tank is not going to be for life. I am going to upgrade to a 600 gallon after. Gshock, I thought Jardinis are the ones that beat up other fish, not the other way around. Thanks

Whoops, thats what I meant, but anyays, small fish will get eaten, your tsn will outgrow your jar possibly killing it etc etc

Why the sizes? Are those existing fish? Those aren't maximum growth...Keep in mind the TSN may munch things like the smaller bichirs...

wont work since some fish will get eaten or they will get beat up

The front isn't really a good one to keep with that group. They grow very slowly and might end up eaten or beat to death.
