Stopped by Jacks this evening to pick up the usualy 50 goldfish, started scanning the tanks as I waited for the guy to scoop them up, no big fish, so I made a second round, then I noticed what I thought was just a kissing gourami, upon further inspection I noticed the tag, True Albino Giant Gourami. When the Gourami came back to the front of the tank, I told the guy he was sold, only $17. I only have 1 tank, a 125, so I bought a 10 gallon till he gets about 6 inches or more, then I will toss him in the big tank. Ive been wanting one of these guys forever and finally got him. I looked online at some Giants just to confirm this is what I have, and it is. This is why you NEVER should pass these stores up, no matter what you have against them. Just because they have there bettas in small cups, doesnt mean you cant find some nice fish. Stores like that can care less if you or a few people dont shop there because of that, it only leaves these types of fish for other people, such as myself. I think I saved this gal from possibly being inside a tank less than 55 gallons for the rest of her life cuz someones GF think its pretty or whatever other reason.
