Picts are my ten foot by 20" by 26" tank never sy a 20" wide or 26" tall tank before 18 or 24 wide is normal
And 26" tall is weird to. I would like it to be wider but for my 5 kells and friends it will work for now.
Bass are still growing but are slowing down some.
The largest female is 11" and staying there. The larger male Bruno lol is still growing ,past up sparky at 13" .Bruno is now a good 14". People who saw kells only get 9_12" are out of date.lol .

Purebreds lmao thanks for the compliment . I got them from my lfs .
They were labeled kelberi. They were from Singapore . so who knows what really is in them.
I think I just got the best of the batch or worst lol. I like them and that what really counts to me . I'm not pushing them to breed. They are just pets.

Nice looking bass. I love how each one is so radically different from the next even though they are all kels. I hope mine gets some sort of colour like these guys.

Thank you Matters.
They will be about 2 in September ? Their colors should be set by then?
They can be a really nice bright yellow .With the barring showing up real nice, or no bars and then some times the bars are just 3 dots . the major markings ( the dirty blotches and spots don't go away . They fade out and fade in and change shape over time. But the barring and back ground can change in seconds. Just like all other cichlids and fish.
