my new project: Pico Tanks!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
what is in them? they look sweet. i am ordering a pictope kit, for a pair of congo bettas(ctenopoma ansorgii) and 3 dwarf frogs, and a zebra nerite snail

thanks. so far, no organisms, I'm planning on doing a CRS and a cobra endler in the biggest one. I have hc, micro swords, wiseria (sp?) and some other low lying plant that I forget the name of.
no filtration, high output ott light, and dosed with flourish excel and fresh water plant by Kent.

yeah, I don't think its gonna do to well in the long run, but i had all the stuff lying around and couldn't resist giving it a shot. For now it looks really cool in my college dorm.

Nice! I was in a $2 shop/thrift store just a couple hours ago looking at the wide range of shapes and sizes of very cheap glass containers they had, thinking about the possibilities for picotopes. You've made my mind up for me, I'll have to try one.
