My new puffer - Cross River!

Greetings from Toronto, Canada!

This little guy showed up on Thursday and love it already.

Can’t wait to see how the puffer will look over time. Currently it is about 5-6”

First day it took some tilapia. We are now on day three and it is eating 2-3 clams on the half shell a day. I can tell it is getting comfortable with the new tank as it is now starting to chase me around begging for food.

Update: December 29, 2022

Putting on some much needed weight. One of the most aggressive fresh water puffers I’ve ever owned. Can barely dip my hand in the water for maintenance! Currently eating clams on the half shell and shrimp.
