I just received my new fish!
Its a SB flowerhorn X BP so i expected a kirin parrot, and what i got was a shock, it has a normal body! its colours havnt started yet, but i can see flicks of red in the fins, so im very excited to what this may turn out like!
any idea's? ill post a pic of the parents too!

sorry for the terrible photo's its very small and wont stay still!

any ideas of what to expect?
 
Ive always been confused by the 'bp x fh = kirin' thing
Ive never seen someone's fh bp cross result in a kirin, only kamfas.

so I think it will turn out to be a kamfa.

I always say hybrids are like a box of chocolates you never know what you are gonna get
but chris broke it down pretty good you are gonna get fry that look like the parents grandparents and some odd balls as well
