Hummmmmmmmmmm......dude that is a palm civet, 
or other species of civet or ginet, is it yours? Its wild caut or cb? If wild cauth as I bet it is, get rid of it, civets are notorious carriers of things like rabies, sars virus,leptospirosis and other "nice" things like hepatitis. In I think 2004 they caused quite some probs in chinese food markets because the sars virus(they eat some things that here would be a biohazard
). DONT LET HIM BITE, SCRACH OR LIK YOU! Put him with someone that can release him back to the wild like a sanctuary. Its very likely that its mom was killed and eaten so they could take him away from her
that´s what they do. You did well in rescue him (however you buying him will be a extra incentive for them to cach more) but you must avoid any contact for your health. Carry the cage only with gloves. In the mean time you can feed it things like fruit, meat and rice.
By the way how´s the softshell turtle and her eggs, as well as the green ig doing?

your good coura! hehe yeah this was wild caught,actually It wasnt really that wild coz I always see this kitty with his mom and siblings roaming around my grandma's old house, till one day he was caught in a rat's trap
We have no plans of keeping them coz alot of people in that place is after its poo
and make it a coffee and its very expensive here...i think starbucks also sells civet's poo coffee ,try one coura! civets are the best coffee bean chooserSARS from civets are not proven a culprit
