Awesome. He looks really good. How interactive is he so far? I picked up a midas back in december and he's becoming one of my favorite fish.

not to interactive yet but showing signs of it like he wont chase my finger but i can see him folowing it with his eyes so i think once he starts digging and calls it his place he will start gettin mean

nice fish. I like mine i hand feed him worms but cleaning the tank he attacks!! One of my favorite fish to, just wish he wouldn't bite me when i clean his home :(

Fish looks good, but highly unlikely a Devil. Devils dont have pearling in the fins.

hes about 11-12'' now

You dont have a Devil either.

Actually they do and so do midas. Sometimes they are not visible because of the lighting or they simply don't have any.
As you can see this wild devil has a lot of pearling in the fins. pic is not mine its belongs to Jeff Rapps.

To OP your fish is most likely a hybrid. Since you don't know collection point you must consider it a hybrid. Fish looks nice good luck.

LIB it does. :) lol, Looked at that pic many times and never noticed the spots. Well it is one of the only Devils that I have seen that on.

Most of my midas show this trait. I have not kept many labs but I have seen a few pics. The lighting has a lot to do with the spots Ive noticed the dots end to show more under my T5 Lights than under my normal cheap lights but either way they should still be visible.
