hello people, hows u all?. im new to this forum so thought i would jump straight in with a question, i have a 6ft 100gallon tank which recently had 10 red bellys in which i got rid ov, i now have a baby red tail 3" long, is their any other fish i can keep with it? i know silly question as the red tail will grow huge and prob eat them all anyway but hey that nature for ya eh :naughty:. i thought as he small and in such a big tank then it would be no prob to put the likes ov baby oscars and chilchids in too. i was thinking about 2 ov each so what ya reckon dudes.

Welcome to MFK

I think keeping a red tail on a 6ft isnt a good idea at all and the kind of fish that are big enough to be kept with it will again be too big for the tank because i wouldnt reccoment keeping any fish less than half its size with it.
Good luck with the tank and fish though!

ok m8 i can see exactly where your coming from and i have to agree but my aim atm is to watch and observe all diff types ov fish untill i find the right 1 for me if you know what i mean, this is my 3rd lot ov monster fish, the reds i had were fingernail size when i got them and 10x2 inch each when i gave them away, very agresive they were so i will probably end up doing the same with the red tail and or whatever else survives in with him/her. I love watching fish grow huge and very eager to learn al about them
