Found this guy today label as flowerhorn red texas. i thought i'll give it a try. Still under stress so wonder how he'll look in a few day. Any thought on it so far?

nice pearly thing but not an rt. Theres a ton of these flooding the market nowadays check the petsmart rt/kamfa thread. You got a nice mutt flowerhorn there.

You probably wont find a true rt around in lfs unless you special order one or import them. nice fh tho

first one is a good one too, all these guys can look sweet when they get big, i dont mean like 6 inches , but grow one out to a good 12" they will all look different and have cool features in my opinion if you can get a good looking fish that has some personality then its a winner..... mutt or not ,

Nice. My little "red Texas" started growing a hump shortly after I got him. Here's a pic of him brand new and one about two weeks ago...my daughter has since named him "Noggin".
