First of all let me just say I am very happy and pleased with where I am in this project. I started this a week and a half ago. And this is where I am currently I will update as I go along over the next few weeks following my progress I have a few pics I will shaer along with little comments along the way. So now that the pictures are done loading continue on. Please keep in mind these are cell phone pics and nothing of qualitiy. I am not a photographer, and I don't have a camera, as a matter of fact I don't even have a computer, I'm on my phone. Well anyway let's get started.

It always starts here right. I am not going into details on the stand or hood build as there are dozens if good detailed threads out there I learned by reading these threads.

I would like to point out these corners as I feel the streangth of the frame was very important and I wanted to show my wife a little security with 200 gallons of water in our newly remodeled room.

Then covered and cut my holes for the 20L and the filter cabnit, built the door and installed.

And stained, we are remodeling that room excuse the mess.

Put the two brand new tanks on the stand and started scaping and filling.

Here's a pic of the room. We just remodeled.

And a pic of the back side where the 20L is.

Here's the close up of the 20L its planted with anubias petite (nana) and java fern (trident).
Seachems excell and the dry ei meathod are my means of ferts and co2. I have a 27 watt 6500k c/f desk lamp on it plus sun light as the lighting. Its currently stocked with 5 rummy noses a cardinal, 7 amano shrimp, 3 ottos, and 2 chinese algea eaters. Its been a 45, and then down to a 10 and then a 29. It has bounced a lot and I have losed a few fish along the way. Really sucked but I'm sure its staying here.

As you can see still have some scaping to go. But for now they are in open space heaven, and they seem to love it.

Here they are 5 peasei this number will be reduced to 2 when a pair is formed. And they will be joined by 6 thorichthys aureus as soon as they arrive at a place for pets. I plan on having a section small enough for them and two large for the pearsei in the form of logs or something (still trying to decide).

Couple shots of my big guy about 8" now, and then a shot of them when they all came to side. Sorry for the cloudy water tank is still less then 24 hours new.

And the L28 (blue phantom) that is shareing the tank with them.

This system is filtered and heated by an ehiem 2180. That's what I got for now will up date after I do some more. Thanks for looking and sorry my pics aren't good.

Thanks guys.

Awesome setups

This weekend I'm going to be building a canopy and hopefully figuring out what I want to use as my decor. I might keep the two big white rocks as I think they lighten up the tank a bit, but I might be looking for some drift wood or some fake maingroves or something. I have to make sure I have a place for my aureus to go if the need to hide from the pearsei. I'm also going to look at a few other uncommon plecos that stay pretty small to go in the tank as well. My aureus have been delayed because of snow, but I'm confident they will be in next week. I'm still very excited about this. Btw is this posted in the right place? I dident know where to put it and figured there's a lot of pics why not the media lounge. If it should be moved else where will a mod please put it where its supposed to be.

WOWZERS! That is a beautiful stand. Yeah... I'm with gruff. Definitely not the skill. Definitely not the tools. Patience alone isn't enough to do something like that. Nice work. Keep the pics coming!
