Datnoid tank mates

Some said it is irresponsible to put channa auranti with other type of fish.
But I think when he is young it should be fine. It won't attack the other fishes. Other also said it is a subtropical fish but is no good to put in tropica fish tank but I think it is like asking those ppl staying in subtropical whether to stay in tropical whether country. I think they should be able to cope and adjust with. Hope my adjustment is fine.
Thanks.

I am welcome to all to comment.

ugh so many fish i want and such little space for more tanks... looks good though

I highly doubt the auranti will 'adjust', it is not like a person going from a sub-tropical area to a tropical area as humans have a very large range of temperatures that we can live at. what will likely happen is the auranti's health will continuously decline until it dies as they are built to survive at colder temperatures that holds better oxygenation, it is the same as putting a tropical fish is 50 degree farenheit pond water, it dies because it is not suited to live in that situation.
Everything else looks great but I would get rid of the auranti and maybe consider a marulioides instead as the are a tropical snakehead but get just a bit larger.

To all,
Thanks guy.

For nomad,
Yea I love the driftwood too. It is difficult to find cuase it is one of the
Malaysia harder wood called Cengal getting lesses and lesses every year.

For aidenb,

Thanks for your good advised. I might reconsider to realocate my Channa Auranti.
I really love that fish. He is not shy at all even at fist day. I put some crikets he just
gobble it. Maybe I shoud reallocate the other fish to other tank instead and introduce
a chiller to cool him up.
