Hey guys i just made a post showing my tank the other day but yesterday i scored an awesome piece of driftwood and a pretty cool anubus plant that is supposedly about ten years old. Lemme know what you think!

looks great but i would put some plants by the equipment to hide all the tube and stuff

yea that stuff is annoying, i am hoping the plants start to fill in a little more to cover it up some. thanks tho!

Good looking tank. Love the ram. Like how you have started the planting but i feel you could be less random in the planting scheme. some of the plants seem out of place.

My suggestion, replant and rearrange some of the plants. Move the taller plants more toward the back wall and buy some more to help fill in some of the bare spots. Move the driftwood more towards the left side of the tank so the anubia can cover some of the equipment plus you would open more of the center of the tank for some low growing forground plants. Its all about layering the larger plants at the back and smaller in the front to create a more natural look to the tank.

Yea i see what you mean. Im still learning with the aquascaping and plant schemes. Honestly, i just dont know enough about plant species yet to get a good assortment together. Once i get it down and learn how to keep things alive and algae free ill start putting more money into the actual plants and start fresh. Any plant species suggestions and where i could find them would be greatly appreciated.
