Why would you want to bred it? Here those become feeders.

thats just wrong and cruel as well as a bit discriminatory.... would you feed someone to a pride of starving lions because they were dwafs????
PLUS....short bodied are smaller so fit better in the tank...and are just more interesting to look at...same glory of the full lenght in a compact package...

Nothing cruel about it. In order to have strong aquarium fish you need to cull the weak fish and the ones with genetic defects. What do you think would happen to all of those weaker fish in the wild? Feeding them is a lot better then just pitching them like a lot of breeders do. Culling is a necessary part of raising fry. Pleasent, no. Required to provide healthy fish, yes.

Yeah, I have to cull my cons constantly. Spinal deformities. Not a glam job but it needs to be done.

It's a genetic deformity that shouldn't be sold, simple as that.

You can't actually be comparing natural selection to humans breeding weird animals for there own amusment. Darwin's theories do not apply to animals that are kept alive by humans that would not survive or reproduce in the wild. The animals you listed are all selctively bred by us, not by evolution.
