My new spotted African lungfish

I just got him today! Is it normal for him to hang out at the top for a Lititle bit then will swim around then go back to the top? I need to do read up on him! He's in a 100 gallon tank with two 80 gallon filters running and I have it at 82 degrees

African lungfish can breathe air, so I suspect it's just grabbing gulps of air. Hanging out at the top is also something new ones will do.

Do you have a cave for him?
