140 gallon tank just arrived, question i have a fluval 4 in there its pretty strong little canister that you put under water is this filtration strong enough or well i need more power?? i want more current in my tank fluval 4 is pretty good for that but,i just want more current like a strong current thats not to harsh on my fish, also is a 140 gallon ok for a sting ray.and peacock bass?

could add a powerhead to get some extra current in the tank. Many are economical on electricity.

maybe one or two of the rays or bass. they get fairly large.

hmmmm? power heads what are those i never had them or canister filter help me out here? BUMP

Check out the Cichla section here for more info on if you could house them. I believe your tank might be too small for life for them as I recall looking at them myself when researching a stock list for my 150.

okay, the fluval 4 isn't gonna be near enough for your 140gal, i'd go ahead and upgrade to a larger under tank canister, like the fluval fx5, i run one on my 150gal and love it, and should provide more than enough movement for your water, a powerhead is basically a small waterpump that goes into your tank to move water, almost like your fluval 4 without the canister filter part.
