Now just over a week ago i was able to pick up this new tank. My old Rio 400 had some water in the wooden stand and i wanted a steel frame to be sure nothing would happen with my fish. As i dont have that much space, the biggest i could get was 160cm long. So i picked this 160*60*60 with sump and everything. Im pretty pleased with it, as it all looks really great. It was custom made for the previous owner.

Here are some pics of the tank:

And here some of the filtration. I got this trickling filter from a friend of mine. The whole thing is made of glass. It consists of 4 compartments with trickle plates. I filled it with some nice filtermaterial and voila:

So, what do you think?

that is a nice tank. are you doing a fishy cycle?
(P.S. who is that in your avatar? man, she is hot! )

cycling?? its stocked already :D
I had no option on cycling but i was able to take 90% of the water and all the filter material with bacteria from my other tank. also, the big cannister was just re-connected
So i think i didnt loose much and water parameters are good.

i think i see a nice big panaque and a dat?

What going in this tank?

ehm, like i said, i immediately moved all the fish from the old into the new tank :)
In here is a dat, big royal, smaller royal, blue eye, gibbyceps, 2 armatus and 2 ornates.

ah sorry, how much $ for the tank? (Brutus makes the tank look smaller haha)

the tank was 400. but it came with everything: wood, sand, fish, lights, pumps, thermos etc. so i thought it was a very nice deal for a custom build tank. :)
