My new "tank"

6:30 this morning my husband races into our bedroom, "Sherry, get up NOW! Your tank is leaking!"


My planted tank had water streaming out of it, the bottom pane of glass had cracked!

So, here is my new "tank", at least until I can get into town and get a real one.

The tank was a 37 gallon (30 X 18 X 22). I only had it a couple months. It was used, so I don't really know how old it was.

did the tank just have plants or did you loose fish as well??
and if those are all live plants in that tub i bet it was an awesome tank!

Been there....done that.

I was 12 and my mom agreed to let me have a "big" tank. A nice 60 gallon. Was a huge upgrade from my collection of 10's and 20's.

Nothing like having the landlord call and ask if you left something running! 1/2 the tank was empty. But the good news is mom didn't put the kibosh on my hobby!

YIKES feel your pain. that's why even though i know some of you guys swear by glass, i will always go with acrylics.

I once had a 33 gallon last 1/2 hour till the back popped off fish, rock, everything layin on the floor. Who new a little chip could do that!
