I just picked up the guy at a show. He was sold as a All American. Its super tame and really curious. Any input if its one for sure?

My LPS has one at 2 foot hah there sweet!

Beautiful tegus! Chocoan or red tegu are near the top of my wish list.

Need a closer up pic for anyone to tell you if it's an All-American for sure. If it's being sold as one, it most likely is, I haven't seen anyone scummy enough to try to pass off something as an All-American..
I'd say it's All-American just going off probability.
Going off the picture alone, it looks All-American, but it could be Argentine B&W or a Chacoan.

Ok so a little over a month ago my tegu escaped. He was in a cage on the second floor of my farm house. We tore the house apart looking, room by room. After wards we coat the floors in a layer of baking flower on the floor so we could track him. After a month I gave up the search. So I ordered a Savannah threw work on Friday. Today while I was working I got a call from my mom who was at my house picking up something ........ she found him out in the middle of the one room . An hour later our distributor came with our fish and my monitor.... ............

And that's why you always wait a few months if not more.. They'll turn up sooner or later, and you shouldn't be so quick to give up and replace them. Find a good responsible owner for the Sav, or if you're up to the challenge, read up, (http://savannahmonitor.co) build him his own cage, and keep them both.
If I had space, funds, and a cage ready, I'd offer to take the Sav, but I don't, so I'll not. I can't wait 'til I've got my own place and can start a rescue for situations like these.

I would normally wait months if I was in my old house. The new house is a farm house and super easy to find a way out. I say that due to the fact I find tuns of snakes and mice getting in to the house all year long.
