this is my new temensis sp 'bahia'. sorry for crappy pics. this fish is about 4 inches and has a silvery sheen. seeing that there should be no temensis in the state of bahia in Brazil, im actually hoping it maybe something else...:) ill update this post as this fish gets bigger, fingers crossed. but for now, this guy looks great. very energetic and he likes the air bubbles so much he goes down to where the bubbles are and rides the bubbles to the surface. he's been doing it for hours i dunno if its normal. comments are surely welcome:)DSC_0517.JPGDSC_0526.JPG

sweet looking tem..he's ridin in the bubbles that's his way of playing..i had a bunch of small cichla that loved to do that

thanks guys!

mike- yeah i guess he's just being playful. he's like the energizer bunny always moving around the 20gallon i got him for now, only prob is, you know when fish go up and down the tank with their mouth/lips sliding through the glass, he's been doing that the whole day and im seeing a wound already on his lips, if he's gonna continue doing that then i will have a fish with some callus-like lips and that doesn't look good at all!
haynchinook334 - ya bro that's what i'm hoping for is a pinima alright. i dunno, still too small for me to be definitive. just hoping these 'bahias' will be like the recent 'salvador's that came in.. Salvador city is in bahia state, therefore, there's a chance they might be pinima haha:)

I hope you do have pinimas pare. It would be good to see them available once again.
