Hello everyone, just wanted to post some pictures of my new Temnsis bass. Please excuse the tank, it is my grow out tank and not the nicest looking, but it gets many water changes and does well for me.

Two of them are doing quite well, but the third has very quick breathing that isn’t calming down like the others. I’m a little worried about this one, but these pictures are of them in the bag and after having been in the tank for just a few minutes.

Congrats on your new pick up. They’re the Biggest and baddest bass of all, imo. When these little guys starts to eat, man it is fun watching them. They have an endless appetite and never seems to get fool lol. Good luck.

It was funny at the store, they were holding these guys in half of a divided 90. There was a guppy in the top corner of the other half and all of the bass were nipping the glass divider trying to eat it. Lol

The little guy that was on the bottom is swimming around now, and his breathing has calmed down a bit.

Nice pickups, looks like my grow out tanks very well seasoned :)

Thst growout tank looks fine by me,good luck with them.

Just a little update. They are behaving much better today. I put some red wigglers in for my endli (too big for the tems), and each one of them took a snap at one of the worms. They ended up spitting them out because of their size. So, I threw in a few Hikari carnivore pellets and each of the tems ate at least one. Very happy to see them eating.

Two of them ate very well tonight, putting down a few pellets each. One of those two also at a red wiggler. The third is showing some interest but is still a bit hesitant.

However, I came home to find them like you see in the picture. It’s not really clear but I’m pretty sure that’s ich. The one pictured is the worst of the three, and my endli in that tank has nothing on it at all. Glad I qt’d them. I went ahead and turned the heater up to about 85-86 degrees and put 1 tbs of salt per 5 gallons into the tank. Hopefully, that will rid the tank of ich.
