My new texas cichlid

So i took a trip down to my LFS, and i saw a green texas cichlid that earier in his life had his tail bitten off. So i decided that he deserved a second chance! He is doing great!

A lot of people think it looks wierd but I think it makes him all the more unique

Nice save! I actually just bought my first carpintis over the weekend. I can't belive I'd never owned one before, such a cool species! I have a few handicapped fish too. I'm a sucker for aa fish in need (or I should say my wife is..)

Iv never let a little flaw stop me from saving such a beautiful fish :grinno:
