Sweet fish! Nice colors. They certainly are funny fish. I walked in to mine tearing his heater off the side of the tank yesterday.
What are you feeding yours?
This guy has been caught trying to take the air stone tubing off the tank! Lol I doubt the fake plants will be in there much longer but he needed some hiding places when I first got him home.
I have been feeding him my homemade food which has talapia, shrimp, scollops, kelp, carrots, peas, spirulina and astaxanthin, cichlid pellets and shrimp pellets all ground up and frozen into sheets. I also tried cichlid gold but he wont eat it. He likes slow sinking cichlid pellets by aquatic foods. I keep trying veggies but he wont eat those either, bad boy! Lol I also give him an earthworm everyother day or so. I try to give him different things but at this point he wont go for everything.
