My new Tigrinus

I am stoked! I finally found a Tigrinus near me and I dropped the ball and bought him last night. He is about 10" and is in my 240gallon tank with my gars and my other tigershovelnose. I was worried about the tsn picking on him but they are about the same size and are doing great. They even lie next to eachother and kick it. Hopefully it will stay that way! Here is a pick

very nice tig i would keep an eye on it with the tsn tigs are very thin by comparison and could be looked upon as a meal.

I hear you, but they are the same size. There's no way I would even think about risking an expensive fish like this if I thought another could eat him. Actually it looks like the Tigrinus is going to be the aggressor of the two.

why even risk the tig with the TSN is not worth the trouble a 2 cent TSN with a £200 tig i no what fish i would be rehoming

one thing i would say is be carful with the large gravel as tigs are clumsy hunters and when he snaps up bits of food he may take in a bit of gravel with smaller gravel its not a problem but gravel the size you have the tig would have big problems digesting it
