Well i went away for the weekend again and this time came back with a M Tigrinus.
It is about 6'' and though it looks small in comparison to the other fish its is getting on fine and the aro/dat leave it alone plus it has some hiding places.
heres a couple of pics with the dat next to it.
it is next too the filter outlet.

Thats alittle bit more expensive than up my end of the UK they had 2 in my LFS for £65 each at 4 to 5" i couldn't affor that so i went with a much cheaper option and got a tiger shovelnose instead at £12 at 5"

But i know everythin is a bit more expensive down south than up north!

Never the less really like the shot's your Tiger Dat is lovley looking how big is he ? he looks around the 10" mark ?

yep i am from sunderland.
the fish you are probably referring too are juruence i have owned 5 of them they sell for around £30-70 depending on size.
they look like these i had 4 small 3'' fish and a 7''.

you are a brave man putting a tig that size in with a dat that size

i would put a divider in for the tig and 50-100 feeders and he should grow very fast and be safe to let back into the main tank within 1-2months

the dat was living with some smaller fish before and was no problem and the tig looks smaller due to perspective it is a full 6'' and maybe slightly bigger.
the aro and dat seem fine with it and leave it alone.
i do have a container with heater and filter waiting just incase as i was unsure what was going to happen when i added it on sunday.

great pick up :)

aren't you worried about the size difference thought?

i've got a tigrinus myself and am planning to put it with my indo dat and RTG but i'm a little worried about the size difference.. mines about 9" now, the RTG is 18" and the indo 10".. i'm growing the tig and endlicheri w/c are both at 9" to join them once they get a litle bigger ;)
