Hey All, I just bought a 14 gal bio-cube tank, Now I have had bigger saltwater tanks before, so I know the works...mostly..lol

Anyhow I have never had a nano reef tank, which is what I am starting now..I have it all setup but have one question.

Should I put a protein skimmer in it..

:nilly:

heres the tank

And heres the skimmer made for it, but is it worth adding it?

Thanks ahead of time =D

Well it all depends on what you plan on doing with the tank. If it is going to have a big bio load on it then you should definitely get a skimmer. If not its not worth the hassle. Heres my tank I run with out a skimmer http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=160964

Mines going to be similar to that, just with a bit more polyps, and a few more fish...

Im thinking about 15-20lbs of live rock
A few colony polyps, maybe a button polyp,a clove polyp, few mushrooms, a leather coral, and deffinatly a star polyp or two.

Fish wise,.Im thinking a couple small gobies, maybe a chromis, a banggai cardinal, couple small blennies, a small clown, and a few shrimp and snails.

Think I need it lol...
