What is so odd about that? I have 20's on my F150. Bigger rims look better on bigger vehicles anyways.

Maybe I could see where you were coming from if he had a late 80's Monte Carlo with 26" rims and a lift kit, but luckily that is just not the case!

why do people like big rims? they do nothing for the vehicle its not like a lift or bead locks that let you run flat tires and go through water all rims do is get scratched and need to be cleaned.
 
Wow, I just wanted to show off my new truck.....The reason those are 20" wheels is because the front brake calipers and rotors are so much larger for 2008...The stock size wheel is 18"....I tried many different aftermarket wheels, but they kept on hitting the caliper...

Because it adds to the appereance and is a cheap quick way to make your car a little different than the others of the same make and model.


That said I think it looks good.. nice truck..
 
I hate those big nasty ugly rims celebrity rappers and people like that put on there trucks. I think it looks absolutely ridiculous. I would rather go for performance than looks. Looks always come second for me with cars. Oh and Gotfish nice truck and you rims are nice as well. They aren't ridiculously big with spinners and all that other BS. Although I think you should put a nice set of BBS spider rims on it if you can spend that much money lol. They add alot of performance to the tires as well.
