I have an Oceanic 33 gallon cube I picked up off of Craigslist and it has a tiny dribble leak down the front of it comming from the top frame.
My plan is to lower the water level to about 10", remove the wooden top frame after wrapping the tank in ducttape for extra support, re-silicone the top of the glass, and finally tap the top frame back on with a small rubber mallet. All while the fish are still in the tank. I figured I could raise the waterlevel immediatly to around 6" from the top of the tank and then the rest of the way after 3 days.
Good plan? Too risky?
