An island somewhere......
Got my hands on a couple of adult WC Peruvian Monos from a fellow MFK'er. Totally digging on these guys. They're a little thin from being starved before the trip but I'm plumping them up as we speak. Both are about 15"... not sure of the sex but hopefully a pair. Any guesses at the sex?

**Horrible pictures, still learning about the camera, lighting, glare and the intanglibles**

Form the second picture, from the shape of the anal fin...It's a female.

Can you get a picture of the other mono's anal fin?

nice bro

Looking at Tounges breeding pair of mono's anal fins, The rounded anal fin is a female and the pointed anal fin is a male.

But any How....Nice pick up hawaiian.

they look sweet as for taking pictures do it at night with only the tank light on but if you must do it during the day since your bg is black have someone hold something black behind you and as far as sexing the two the second pic of post 1 looks female from the anal fin as for the other one try to get a better pic of their anal fin

They look like they are big enough to eat that Leichardti and I like that gravel size and color.I think I have some of the same kind but I need to find more.

I will ignore all the other silly comments..... :irked:

That was one of my main concerns is them swallowing the Lei... so far, so good. I watched closely the first 2 days.... all the other fish that might fit in their mouths were removed, except for a 4" and 7" Grammode (hence the flower pots and driftwood). The Lei is pretty competitive when it comes to feeding but he'll learn not to challenge the big boys.... he's lost some scales!

**Btw, the gravel is Flourite. It was going to be a planted tank but my previous cichlids ate all the plants.... **
