any sugestions are more then welcome

hey that's a very beautiful tank you got there, what kind of fishes are you planning on getting in the future?

i was thinking some kind of dwarf cichilid like rams , apisto or kribensis . i will also be removing a large knife featherfin cat and 2 gold gouramis.
any sugestions on what to add?

You are new to the hobby and started with Discus? Very Impressive!

Discus are beautiful fish, but I have never kept them. I have always heard they are not as hardy as the usual cichlid.

well i did do a bit of trolling forums before hand to know what to expect.
i started in december with a 180liter tank with platies neons etc. so i decieded to try discus i bought 2 small ones and they lived :)

so i then went to the 285l tank just over a month ago and im loving it. its a very addictive hobby.

I would add some bigger cichlids in there, or a big one that isn't as aggressive, maybe some angel fishes those are nice too.

Rams would be good, they share the same water requirements as discus

im not a big fan of angels . what cichilids do u suggest i was under the impression the larger ones wont go well with discus

Most will stress them out even if they aren't overly aggressive towards them. I've never kept discus but I'd be hesitant to add any cichlids other than rams or angels due to the potential size and temperament of most.

I'd stick with something more peaceful like larger tetras.

Very nice fish you have there either way. Lotsa luck!
