Nice. I can never get the black background that you get in your pictures. How do you do that? Is that some special lighting you have to use to snap pics.?
The missing scales on the side: was that because the male got rough, or happened in transit?

I use two overhead flashes on top of my tanks. The missing scales are probably due to stress/shipping. She hadn't been introduced to the male at this point. They are going to be divided for a while. Thank you!
