Awesome pleco Wingate

love the pics of its serrated armor/etc...thats one mean looking mofo. I sure wouldn't want to try to bare hand him how do you even move a pleco like that? I'd imagine nets are not an option...

Yeah, no nets with this one. I tried to pick it up bare handed.....hurt like hell.lol So I just drained most of the water out of the bag and put the whole bag in the tank. I think I'm gonna buy a pair of leather gloves just for when I have to move either of my bigger ones.

OMG! That fish borders on sacred :-O I think I may need a minute here to be properly awed lol! Excellent pictuers and you must be so proud of him you want to sleep on the floor in front of his tank I can't even find one of those anywhere.

That is not look like leopard pleco (L-114), wingate ...imo, more like L600 due to small spots .. same same as my L600 i recon. It just so happen i got me a leopard pleco couple of weeks go and the spots are bigger and fins are differently colored... mind you, my pleco is puny (i never had such a small pleco in my life)... 1 inch or something like that. how big is yours? 7"?

PS: sorry for poor pix ... really difficult to photo due to size and perchant to hide in sponge filter
