my newts

i know this is kinda lame but i just wanted to share it. i caught this pair in my friend's backyard upstate.

i used to cath these all the time when i was growing up. they make decent captives. the hardest part is getting them to eat. i would go but some x-small crickets.

also i would keep them on dirt but keep it damp. and give them plenty to hide under. logs, rocks ect.

Great looking newts. The stream is great looking. Newts are neat . I have only seen them as red efts in Upstate NY never as aquatic newts.

actually it is a stream. its right behind my friends house. he has a pretty big backyard
