I got this guy back in june of 2014, kept him till January 2015 and then sold him off... This guy ended up back on market a few months later and I had to get him back, so I did. I plan on keeping this guy forever now. He's around 12" now and pounds on massivores.
The tank a 300 gallon (6' X 30" X 30"), and the tankmates are 5 tiger scats, 1 vatf, 1 african aro, and 1 armatus, I might add a fish or two in there later.

Nice,it looks good.I am tempted to get another army every time I see a photo of one.
Thank you, yeah this guy has worked out well so far, was trained to accept dead food when I got him. I had a red tail tat when I got this guy that was an inch bigger than him. It was a little hairy for the first few weeks and then both of them 'claimed' their corners, all was well for a while. And then one day I found my red tail with his good eye (one eye was already blinded by my ATF) bloody... I had to euthanize that guy, he was a solid foot when I put him down.

Yeah,I have had a few fish in the past lose an eye or two to my armatus.
